Pre-finished Hardwood Flooring
Pre-finished harwood floors do not require sanding or staining. They are ready for use after installation.
Solid Hardwood Flooring
Solid hardwood is made from a solid piece of hardwood. They can be sanded and refinished multiple times. However if exposed to high levels of humidity they can expand and contract.
Unfinished Hardwood Flooring
Unfinished hardwood floors must be sanded, stained and sealed after installation. We recommend unfinished floors for larger areas as it gives a more consistent and even look.
Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Engineered hardwood is made from layers of wood that have been bonded together using heat and pressure. Engineered wood is more durable than solid wood because is provides resistance to high moisture environments and it is also more resistant to scratches.
